EMT Program

Our program runs in an academy format, emphasizing key components such as physical agility, team dynamics, and communication—all crucial aspects utilized in the field. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program prepares you for emergency medical care, disaster relief response, and other critical tasks involved in serving communities in need.

Students who participate in the EMT program can obtain various certifications which most agencies use. that are recognized by most agencies. Importantly, our EMT program meets Title 22 regulations, ensuring you will be qualified to take the National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians exam. This, in turn, allows you to qualify for state licensure in any state. Those who become state certified can apply to work with ambulance companies, fire agencies (once they complete the fire academy), law enforcement, or special event medical staff.

Please note that there are minimum grade requirements for both the lab and lecture components of the program. These standards ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations and guarantee that all students are adequately prepared for the rigorous demands of the profession. Meeting these requirements is essential for successfully completing the program.
